The National Turkey Federation is a U.S. trade association that represents turkey producers, processors and allied companies. It promotes turkey consumption, industry research and marketing, and advocates for policies that support the economic viability, food safety, animal health and market access of the turkey sector.
Agricultural and farm policy, federal nutrition programs and dietary guidance, food safety and inspection, international trade and market access, animal health and welfare standards, biosecurity and disease response, labeling and marketing regulation, and regulatory/tax matters affecting poultry producers and processors.
Primarily funded by membership dues and fees from turkey producers, processors and allied agribusinesses, plus sponsorships, event revenue and program services.
