The National Weather Service Employees Organization (NWSEO) is a labor union representing employees of the National Weather Service (NWS). Its mission is to advocate for the professional, workplace, and safety interests of meteorologists, hydrologists, technicians, and other NWS staff to ensure the effective delivery of weather, water, and climate services that protect life and property.
NWSEO typically pursues policies related to federal workforce protections, collective bargaining rights, workplace safety, staffing levels, public sector pay and benefits, federal agency funding, and maintaining the operational integrity and modernization of the National Weather Service.
