The Natural Gas Supply Association (NGSA) is a U.S.-based trade association that represents wholesale natural gas suppliers and marketers. Its mission is to advocate for competitive, reliable, and transparent natural gas markets, support infrastructure investment and efficient market rules, and advance regulatory and legislative policies that facilitate supply availability and customer choice while addressing safety and environmental requirements.
Federal and state energy and natural gas market regulation, interstate pipeline and infrastructure permitting, market design and FERC policy, LNG export/import and trade issues, tax and tariff matters affecting suppliers, emissions and environmental regulation impacting gas supply, and policies affecting wholesale supplier competition and commercial contracting.
Primarily funded by membership dues and fees from wholesale natural gas supplier and marketer member companies, plus event sponsorships and program revenue.
