Neighbor to Neighbor Massachusetts (N2N-MA) is a grassroots community organizing network that builds power with multi-racial, working-class, and immigrant communities across Massachusetts to advance collective wellbeing through campaigns, leadership development, and civic engagement, with a strong focus on housing justice, tenant protections, and community-led policy wins.
Housing affordability and tenant protections (rent regulation, community land trusts, tenant organizing), immigrant and worker rights, environmental justice and energy equity, criminal justice reforms (including prison communication cost issues), local economic investment and public funding for affordable housing, and voter engagement/civic participation.
Primarily foundation and philanthropic grants, individual donations and member contributions; tax-deductible support flows to the Education Fund while the Action Fund is supported by advocacy/donor contributions.
Works in coalition with groups and networks including the LUCE network, Community Labor United and local coalitions (e.g., Worcester Community Labor Coalition); partners have included Lynn United for Change, ECCO and Wellspring Cooperative; led publicly by Executive Director Dálida Rocha.
