The New Jersey Farm Bureau is a statewide membership organization representing agricultural producers and enterprises in New Jersey. Its mission is to advocate for farmers at the local, state, federal, and international levels by influencing laws and regulations, promoting positive public relations for agriculture, and supporting initiatives that enhance the profitability and sustainability of its producer members.
Agricultural and rural policy including right-to-farm protections, farmland assessment and preservation, environmental and water regulations, agricultural labor, wildlife management, renewable energy, and issues affecting farm profitability and food supply.
Primarily funded through membership dues, program service revenue, and investment income.
Affiliated with the American Farm Bureau Federation and county-level Farm Bureau organizations; led by member-elected officers and directors including the organization’s president.
