The Non Commissioned Officers Association (NCOA) is a federally chartered nonprofit military service organization founded to represent and advocate for enlisted personnel (noncommissioned and petty officers), military retirees, veterans, spouses and survivors. NCOA’s mission is to improve quality of life for enlisted service members and veterans through legislative advocacy on Capitol Hill, outreach to the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Pentagon, member services, career/transition assistance, scholarships and community programs.
Advocacy for enlisted service members and veterans on military pay and benefits, retirement and survivor benefits, TRICARE and veteran health care access, VA claims and benefits, transition and employment programs, education/Scholarship support, and quality-of-life issues affecting active duty, reserve, National Guard, retirees and their families.
Primarily funded by membership dues and individual donations, supplemented by program fees, event revenue, corporate sponsorships and grants.
National and international NCOA chapters and the NCOA International Auxiliary; partnerships with employers and veteran-employment programs through NCOA career expos; collaborations with other veterans service organizations and government agencies.
