About the Organization

The North Carolina Bankers Association is the state trade association that represents banks and banking professionals across North Carolina, providing advocacy, regulatory representation, education, training, and industry resources to support a safe, competitive, and locally responsive banking sector.

Policy Goals

State and federal banking regulation and supervision, consumer and commercial financial services policy, regulatory compliance and licensing, taxation and economic development affecting banks, small business and community lending (including CRA-related issues), fintech and payments policy, cybersecurity and workforce development for the banking sector.

Funding

Primarily funded by member dues and assessments, revenue from conferences and continuing-education programs, sponsorships, and fees for services and publications.

Affiliates

National and regional banking groups such as the American Bankers Association, state and local bankers associations and foundations, and a membership base composed of major national banks and community banks operating in North Carolina (including large regional headquarters and locally headquartered institutions).
