The North Carolina League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV) is a state-based environmental advocacy organization that works to protect North Carolina’s natural resources and public health by electing pro-conservation leaders, mobilizing voters, producing candidate scorecards, and advancing policy campaigns on climate, clean energy, water quality, and coastal and land conservation.
Advocates for clean energy and climate resilience, water quality and coastal protection, clean air, conservation of public lands and wildlife, environmental justice, and pro-conservation electoral engagement including endorsements, voter education, and legislative lobbying.
Primarily funded through individual donations and membership contributions, philanthropic grants from foundations, and financial support from aligned national and state philanthropic partners.
