About the Organization

The Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA) is a regional trade association representing consumer-owned electric utilities in the Pacific Northwest. Its mission is to support public power utilities through education, training, advocacy, and member services to promote reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity for the communities they serve.

Policy Goals

NWPPA typically engages in legislative and regulatory policies related to energy generation and transmission, hydropower, electricity markets, utility regulation, infrastructure investment, grid reliability, renewable energy, and public power governance.

Funding

Membership dues, conference and training program fees, sponsorships, and event revenue

Affiliates
