Nova Ukraine is a U.S.-based nonprofit founded in 2014 that provides humanitarian relief, medical supplies, infrastructure and refugee support in Ukraine while raising public awareness and supporting civil society and cultural programs to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic institutions.
Typically pursues humanitarian assistance and emergency relief policies, support for refugee and diaspora services, assistance for medical and health infrastructure, strengthening civil society and democratic reform initiatives, and public diplomacy/awareness activities on U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine.
Primarily individual donors and Ukrainian diaspora contributions, supplemented by philanthropic foundations, corporate sponsorships, and in-kind donations.
Works with Ukrainian volunteer networks and NGOs (including Nova Stash), partners and coalitions such as the American Coalition for Ukraine, and has collaborated with other U.S.-based Ukraine relief organizations; prominent founders/leaders include Nick Bilogorskiy and Ostap Korkuna.
