About the Organization

NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association is a national trade association representing about 850 independent, family-owned, cooperative, and community-based broadband and telecommunications providers serving rural and small-town America. Its mission is to help members deliver reliable broadband and essential communications services and to advocate for rural connectivity and community growth.

Policy Goals

Rural broadband deployment, universal service, telecommunications regulation, spectrum and infrastructure policy, broadband affordability, rural economic development, and workforce/training issues affecting rural communications providers.

Funding

Primarily funded by member dues and membership-related program and service revenue.

Affiliates

NTCA Rural Broadband PAC; Foundation for Rural Service; member companies include independent rural broadband and telecommunications providers; board and leadership drawn from cooperative and commercial broadband providers.
