The Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) is a national alliance of more than 60 nursing organizations representing nursing education, practice, research, and regulation. The coalition advocates on behalf of the nursing profession to strengthen the nursing workforce, advance nursing research, and promote policies that improve patient care and health outcomes across the United States.
Federal appropriations for nursing workforce development and education programs, funding for Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development Programs, support for the National Institute of Nursing Research, healthcare workforce policy, nursing faculty recruitment and retention, and broader public health and healthcare access initiatives.
Primarily supported through member organization contributions and in-kind support from participating national nursing associations.
