The Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) is a U.S.-based national nonprofit organization that advocates for people affected by obesity through education, support, and public policy engagement. Its mission is to elevate and empower those affected by obesity and to reduce weight bias and improve access to prevention and treatment.

Primarily supported by member contributions, individual donations, grants, sponsorships, and fundraising activities.
Obesity Medicine Association, healthcare professionals and patient advocates associated with obesity care; prominent public-facing leaders include the organization’s national board and staff, but no single high-profile individual is consistently identified as the public face of the organization.
