The Office of the Governor of Washington, led by Governor Bob Ferguson (sworn in January 15, 2025), is the state's executive branch headquarters responsible for implementing state law, setting administration policy priorities, preparing the biennial budget proposal, coordinating state agencies, issuing executive orders, and providing constituent services and intergovernmental representation.
Advances executive and legislative priorities including state budget and tax policy, public safety and criminal justice, reproductive health access, housing affordability and homelessness, K–12 and higher education, environmental and climate policy, public health and behavioral health, consumer protection and regulatory reform.
Funded through annual and biennial appropriations from the Washington State operating budget (state general fund and dedicated revenues), supplemented by federal grants and program-specific funds.
