The Office of the Attorney General of Connecticut is the state’s chief legal office responsible for representing Connecticut and its agencies in civil litigation, enforcing state laws and consumer protection statutes, issuing formal legal opinions for state officials, coordinating multistate enforcement actions, and protecting public interests such as the environment, civil rights, and consumer welfare.
