About the Organization

The Office of the U.S. House Majority Leader is the leadership office of the majority party in the United States House of Representatives. The Majority Leader is responsible for scheduling legislation for floor consideration, coordinating party strategy, guiding legislative priorities, and working with committee chairs and members to advance the majority party’s agenda in the House.

Advances the legislative agenda of the majority party in the U.S. House of Representatives, including federal budget and appropriations bills, tax policy, national defense, healthcare, immigration, oversight, and other priority legislation determined by the majority caucus.
