Ohio Bankers League

About the Organization

The Ohio Bankers League is a statewide trade association that represents and advocates for commercial and community banks in Ohio. The organization provides legislative and regulatory advocacy, compliance and professional education, industry research, and member services aimed at promoting a safe, competitive, and community-focused banking system across the state.

Policy Goals

State banking regulation and supervision, taxation affecting financial institutions, consumer finance and lending rules, community reinvestment and economic development initiatives, payments and fintech policy, cybersecurity and operational resilience, workforce development and professional education for banking employees.

Funding

Primarily funded through membership dues from member banks, fees for conferences and training, sponsorships, and revenue from publications and services provided to members.

Affiliates

National and regional banking trade groups such as the American Bankers Association and other state bankers associations; member community and commercial banks operating in Ohio.
