The Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) is the statewide trade association representing community, regional, and commercial banks in Oklahoma. The organization advocates for the banking industry before state and federal policymakers, provides regulatory guidance and compliance support, offers education and professional development for bank staff, and promotes community banking and economic development across the state.
Advocacy on banking regulation and supervisory policy, consumer financial protection as it affects banks, lending and deposit rules, fintech and payment systems policy, tax and economic development issues that affect banks and communities, workforce development and bank education, and community reinvestment and small-business lending support.
Primarily membership dues and fees from member banks, supplemented by revenue from conferences, sponsorships, training programs, and publications.
