About the Organization

The Oklahoma Cotton Council is a statewide agricultural organization that represents cotton producers and ginners in Oklahoma. Its mission is to promote and protect the interests of the state’s cotton industry through advocacy, education, research support, and policy engagement at both the state and federal levels.

Policy Goals

Agricultural policy, farm subsidies, crop insurance, trade policy, water and natural resource management, research funding, and regulatory issues affecting cotton production and rural economic development

Funding

Membership dues from cotton producers and industry stakeholders, along with industry assessments and cooperative program funding

Affiliates

National Cotton Council of America, regional cotton producer associations, and Oklahoma cotton ginners associations
