About the Organization

The Oregon People’s Utility District Association (OPUDA) is a statewide association representing Oregon’s consumer-owned electric utilities, known as People’s Utility Districts (PUDs). The organization advocates on behalf of its member utilities and their customers to promote reliable, affordable, and locally controlled electric service.

Policy Goals

Public power governance, electric utility regulation, energy affordability, infrastructure investment, renewable energy policy, wildfire mitigation, and state and federal utility legislation affecting consumer-owned utilities
