About the Organization

The Patriot League is an NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics conference made up of academically selective colleges and service academies. It emphasizes the integration of athletics with academic achievement, student-athlete development, integrity, and leadership.

Policy Goals

College athletics policy, including student-athlete academic standards, eligibility, transfer rules, amateurism, conference governance, and the role of athletics within higher education.

Funding

Primarily funded by member institution dues, conference revenues, media and sponsorship agreements, and event-related income.

Member institutions include American University, Boston University, Bucknell University, Colgate University, College of the Holy Cross, Lafayette College, Lehigh University, Loyola University Maryland, U.S. Military Academy, and U.S. Naval Academy. Associate members include Fordham University, Georgetown University, MIT, the University of Richmond, William & Mary, and Villanova University.
