Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates is the national advocacy and lobbying affiliate associated with Planned Parenthood that works to protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care, including contraception and abortion, and to influence public policy and elections in support of reproductive rights and health equity.
Reproductive and sexual health access including abortion care and contraception, Medicaid and public program funding for family planning, Title X and clinic protections, sex education, LGBTQ health equity, voting rights and civic engagement, and related health-care access and anti-discrimination measures.
Primarily funded by individual donors and grassroots fundraising, transfers and support from Planned Parenthood affiliates, large donor contributions and political fundraising activities typical of 501(c)(4) groups.
