About the Organization

The Professional Services Council (PSC) is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association that represents companies providing professional, technical, and management services to the U.S. federal government. PSC's mission is to promote public-private partnerships and advocate for procurement and budget policies that support a sustainable industrial base for defense, civilian, and federal IT services.

Policy Goals

Typically pursues federal acquisition and procurement reform, IT modernization and cybersecurity policy, defense and civilian contracting issues, budget and appropriations matters affecting contractors, workforce and labor policy related to government contracting, small-business subcontracting and regulatory compliance for the federal services sector.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues, sponsorships, conferences, and events revenue from member government contractor companies.

Affiliates

Prominent member companies and industry partners include large and mid-size federal services contractors such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Leidos, CACI, SAIC, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman and other government contracting firms.
