The Project On Government Oversight (POGO) is a nonpartisan independent watchdog organization founded in 1981 that investigates and exposes waste, corruption, abuse of power, and conflicts of interest within the federal government. Its mission is to promote transparency, accountability, and effective oversight to ensure the federal government serves the public interest.
