Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center (RMvlc) is a Colorado-based nonprofit law firm founded in 2009 that provides free legal services to victims of crime across the state. Its mission is to elevate victims’ voices, champion their rights, and transform the systems impacting them by offering direct representation, legal information, and advocacy in criminal and civil proceedings, including Title IX matters.
Crime victims’ rights enforcement, victim privacy protections, restitution rights, Title IX compliance and campus sexual misconduct policies, access to legal services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other violent crimes, and systemic reforms within the criminal justice system.
Primarily funded through government grants, including U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women grants, as well as private donations and foundation support.
