Service Women’s Action Network (SWAN) is a national advocacy organization dedicated to supporting and empowering service women and women veterans. Its mission is to ensure equitable access to healthcare, benefits, and services, and to address issues such as military sexual trauma, gender discrimination, and the unique challenges faced by women in the armed forces and veteran community.
Veterans’ healthcare access, military sexual trauma prevention and response, gender equity in the armed forces, Department of Veterans Affairs reform, reproductive healthcare access for service members, and protections for women veterans’ benefits and services.
Primarily funded through foundation grants, individual donations, and charitable contributions.
Collaborates with national veterans’ advocacy organizations, women’s rights groups, and military family advocacy networks.
