Sierra Protection Action Network (SPAN) is an alliance launched by the Community Governance Partnership to build organizing power across California’s Sierra region by connecting political, conservation, labor, small business, social justice, and environmental interests. Through coalition-building and community organizing, SPAN works to strengthen progressive, action-based partnerships and empower local leaders to advance environmental protection and community resilience.
