The South Florida Muslim Federation is a nonprofit umbrella organization representing more than 30 mosques and community organizations across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. Established in 2018, its mission is to unite, empower, and serve the South Florida Muslim community by acting as a resource-sharing hub that coordinates religious, educational, social service, and civic engagement initiatives.
Religious liberty protections, anti-discrimination and civil rights, community development, social services, civic engagement, interfaith outreach, education, and humanitarian assistance.
Primarily funded through charitable donations, member organization contributions, and community support.
Affiliated with over 30 member mosques and community organizations in South Florida, including local Islamic centers, social service nonprofits, and civic engagement groups such as Emgage and BASMAH.
