SOWEGA Rising is an Albany, Georgia-based nonprofit coalition that mobilizes people and resources to improve the well-being, quality of life, and political power of marginalized communities in Southwest Georgia. The organization focuses on rural revitalization, community organizing, leadership development, and advocacy to advance civic engagement, racial equity, environmental justice, food security, rural health, and economic justice across the region.
