The Specialty Steel Industry of North America (SSINA) is a voluntary trade association representing the majority of specialty metals producers in North America. It serves as the voice of the North American specialty metals industry, promoting expanded use of specialty steel and advocating for policies that support the industry’s growth, competitiveness, and recognition.

Primarily funded by member companies and sponsors.
Member companies in the specialty steel and specialty metals industry; associated with its Market Development Committee and Superalloy Committee. Public-facing leadership has included company executives such as Dennis Oates of Universal Stainless and Alloy Products and Chris Zimmer of Universal Stainless.
