The Stonewall Caucus of the Democratic Party of Hawai‘i is the LGBTQIA+ caucus within the state Democratic Party. Organized to represent and advance the interests of Hawai‘i’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied communities, it works to shape party policy, track and advocate on legislation, endorse pro‑equality candidates, and mobilize voters around civil rights and inclusion.
Promotes LGBTQIA+ equality and non‑discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations; supports access to comprehensive and gender‑affirming healthcare; advocates for protections for transgender youth and inclusive school policies; advances HIV prevention and sexual health services; endorses criminal justice and civil rights reforms affecting LGBTQIA+ people; and endorses and organizes for pro‑equality Democratic candidates and party platform priorities.
Primarily supported by member dues, small grassroots donations and event fundraising, with volunteer labor and occasional coordination or material support from the Democratic Party of Hawai‘i and allied organizations.
