About the Organization

Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) is an international youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the War on Drugs and promoting evidence-based drug policies. The organization mobilizes students and young people to advocate for harm reduction, criminal justice reform, and public health approaches to drug use through grassroots organizing, education, and policy engagement.

Policy Goals

Drug policy reform, marijuana legalization and regulation, harm reduction initiatives, criminal justice reform, overdose prevention, public health approaches to substance use, and student amnesty policies on college campuses
