The Syracuse-Onondaga Food Systems Alliance (SOFSA) is an independent food policy council established in 2019 serving Syracuse, Onondaga County, and the Onondaga Nation. It is a network of community members, farmers, businesses, advocates, and public agencies dedicated to advancing food justice, strengthening regional agriculture, improving access to healthy food, and building a more equitable and sustainable local food system through advocacy, collaboration, and community-led initiatives.
