Description: The Tahirih Justice Center is a national nonprofit founded in 1997 that provides free legal representation, social services case management, training, impact litigation, and policy advocacy for immigrant women, girls, and other survivors of gender-based violence and persecution. Tahirih combines direct services with systems‑change advocacy to secure protection, expand gender‑based asylum and survivor visas, and prevent exploitation such as forced and child marriage.
