About the Organization

TechFreedom is a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit think tank that advances market-oriented, pro-innovation technology policy through research, commentary, legal filings, and regulatory advocacy on issues affecting the internet and digital economy.

Policy Goals

Technology and telecommunications policy, internet freedom and free speech, competition and antitrust in digital markets, regulatory reform and limited government intervention, privacy and data policy, and intellectual property law.

Funding

Primarily funded by donations from foundations and individual supporters, with additional support from sponsorships and contributions from technology industry stakeholders.

Affiliates

Founder and longtime president Berin Szoka; policy scholars, staff attorneys and fellows; collaborations with technology companies and pro-market policy networks.
