The Texas Wheat Producers Board and Association is a farmer-led organization representing Texas wheat growers. Established in 1950 (Association) and 1971 (Board), it supports the state’s wheat industry through legislative advocacy, research funding, market development, and educational outreach. The Board administers a statewide wheat checkoff program to invest in research, promotion, and education, while the Association serves as the unified policy voice for wheat producers at the state and federal levels.
