U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is the national trade association representing the integrated poultry and egg production, processing, marketing, and allied industries in the United States. The organization provides research, education, technical services, industry data, and advocacy to support food safety, animal health, biosecurity, sustainability, and economic viability across the poultry and egg supply chain.
Typically pursues policies related to agricultural and farm policy, food safety and inspection standards, animal health and biosecurity, trade and market access, environmental and water regulations affecting production, transportation and supply-chain regulation, workforce and labor issues affecting agriculture, and public and private research funding for industry innovation.
Primarily funded by membership dues and fees from poultry and egg producers and allied suppliers, plus event and conference revenue, sponsorships, publications and advertising.
Allied industry organizations and event co-sponsors such as the American Feed Industry Association, Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association, National Chicken Council, state poultry associations, and major industry companies and suppliers.
