About the Organization

Unified Sportsmen of Florida is a Tallahassee-based, Florida state advocacy organization founded in the late 1970s to represent hunters, anglers and firearm owners. Organized as a social-welfare advocacy group, it promotes Second Amendment rights, hunting and fishing interests, firearms safety education, and lobbies at the state level on related legislation; longtime gun-rights activist Marion Hammer has been its founder and most visible leader.
