United Church Funds

About the Organization

United Church Funds (UCF) is the institutional investment ministry of the United Church of Christ. Founded in 1909, UCF provides values‑aligned investment management, planned giving, endowment governance and related financial services to UCC congregations, conferences and other faith‑based organizations, with a mission to strengthen ministry through responsible investing that reflects Christian social and ethical values.

Policy Goals

Promotes socially responsible and values‑aligned investing, shareholder engagement and proxy voting, environmental and climate stewardship in corporate practice, corporate governance and human rights accountability, fiduciary best practices for charitable endowments, planned giving and community development financing.

Funding

Primarily funded by investment management and advisory fees, service revenue from planned giving and endowment services, and returns on assets under management.
