About the Organization

The United States Hispanic Business Council (USHBC) is a national non-profit trade association that advocates for Hispanic-owned and small businesses in the United States. The organization promotes policies to expand access to public and private contracting, reduce regulatory burdens, strengthen workforce and immigration solutions for employers, and amplify Hispanic business voices through media, events, research, and legislative engagement.

Policy Goals

Small business advocacy; public and private procurement access; tax and regulatory policy affecting small businesses; workforce development and employer-focused immigration reform; minority business development and entrepreneurship; access to capital and federal/state economic development programs; trade and supply-chain policy as it affects Hispanic-owned businesses.

Funding

Primarily corporate sponsorships and partnerships, membership programs, event and conference revenue, and private donations.

Affiliates

Javier Palomarez (President & CEO), Don Salazar (Chairman), board leaders such as Cristina Antelo and April Diez; partnerships with corporate allies and other Latino business organizations, including links to figures and networks associated with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
