About the Organization

A local Jacksonville grassroots civic advocacy group led by organizer Blake Harper that promotes preserving existing public monuments while calling for additional markers and contextual exhibits that represent Black history and other underrepresented narratives; the group attends city meetings, organizes public comment and frames its work around reconciliation and protecting what it describes as the city’s history.
