About the Organization

The Utah Home Builders Association (UHBA), also known as the Home Builders Association of the State of Utah, is a statewide trade association founded in 1972 that represents residential construction and related industry professionals. UHBA serves as the umbrella organization for local home builders associations across Utah and advocates for policies that support housing affordability, responsible development, and the home building industry. Members include home builders, developers, remodelers, and industry suppliers.

Policy Goals

Housing affordability, residential construction and land use regulation, building codes, workforce development, property rights, construction liability reform, and pro-growth economic and regulatory policies affecting the home building industry

Funding

Membership dues from builders and associate members, event revenue, sponsorships, and industry partnerships

Affiliates

National Association of Home Builders (NAHB); local home builders associations including the Salt Lake HBA, Utah Valley HBA, Southern Utah HBA, Iron County HBA, Northern Wasatch HBA, Cache Valley HBA, and Park City Area HBA
