About the Organization

The Virginia Manufacturers Association is a non-profit, member-based trade association that represents and advocates for manufacturing companies across Virginia, working to strengthen the Commonwealth’s manufacturing sector through public policy, workforce development, and business services.

Policy Goals

State-level policy advocacy to improve manufacturing competitiveness, including workforce training and apprenticeships, tax and regulatory reform, energy and infrastructure policy, supply‑chain resiliency, economic development and education-to-career partnerships.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues from manufacturing companies, corporate sponsorships, event fees, and program revenue.

Affiliates

Works closely with national and state business groups such as the National Association of Manufacturers and the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, regional economic development authorities and local manufacturing councils.
