Virginia Retail Federation is a statewide trade association that advocates on behalf of retailers across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Its mission is to proactively present and support the legislative interests of Virginia retailers at the federal, state, and local levels, providing members with legislative updates, advocacy support, and access to lobbyists to ensure a unified, pro-business voice in the policymaking process.
Pro-business legislative policies affecting the retail industry, including taxation, sales and marketing regulations, employment law, credit and consumer policy, advertising, state and local government regulation, infrastructure, environment, and opposition to additional business mandates, industry-specific taxes, and expanded private causes of action against employers.
Membership dues from retail businesses and enterprises, along with contributions to its affiliated political action committee.
