The Washington Coalition for Open Government (WashCOG) is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting transparency, accountability, and open access to public records and meetings in Washington State. Its mission is to defend and strengthen the public’s right to know by supporting strong public disclosure laws and open government practices.

Primarily funded through membership dues, individual donations, grants, and sponsorships
