The Water and Sewer Distributors of America (WASDA) is a U.S.-based trade association that represents distributors, warehousers and manufacturers of waterworks, sewer and storm drainage products. Its stated mission is to strengthen and promote the distribution of water and wastewater products and services by providing member education, industry networking, market resources and an advocacy voice on legislative and regulatory issues affecting water infrastructure.
Typically pursues policies related to water infrastructure funding and procurement, federal and state regulatory compliance affecting waterworks products (including EPA and utility rules), public works contracting and specification practices, supply‑chain and trade issues for distribution, workforce development and industry standards that affect distributors and municipal buyers.
Primarily funded through member dues from distributor and manufacturer companies, event and meeting registration fees, sponsorships and program revenues.
Member companies and leadership include Core & Main, Ferguson Waterworks, F.W. Webb, Coburn Supply and other regional waterworks distributors and manufacturers; maintains working relationships with sector organizations such as the American Water Works Association and other water industry groups.
