The Waters Advocacy Coalition (WAC) is a multi-industry coalition representing agriculture, construction, transportation, real estate, mining, manufacturing, forestry, energy, recreation, wildlife conservation, and public health and safety sectors. The coalition advocates for clear and predictable federal water regulations under the Clean Water Act, particularly regarding the definition of “Waters of the United States” (WOTUS), and promotes policies it argues protect clean water while supporting economic growth, infrastructure development, and job creation.
