West Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (WHUUF) is a Unitarian Universalist congregation in the Garden Home/West Hills area of Portland, Oregon. Founded in the 1950s, WHUUF describes its mission as building an inclusive spiritual community that nurtures personal growth, provides religious education for all ages, and advances social justice and compassion in the wider community.
Typically pursues progressive social-justice oriented policies, including LGBTQ+ equity and inclusion, racial and economic justice, environmental and climate action, immigrant and refugee support, voting and civic engagement, criminal justice reform, and interfaith/community-based social welfare initiatives.
Primarily funded by member pledges and donations, program fees and facility rentals, supplemented occasionally by grants and fundraising activities.
