Western AgCredit is a member-owned agricultural lending cooperative and part of the nationwide Farm Credit System established in 1916. Headquartered in South Jordan, Utah, it provides real estate, operating, livestock, equipment, and agribusiness loans to farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses throughout Utah and parts of Wyoming, Nevada, and Arizona. Its mission is to provide a dependable source of constructive credit and related financial services to agriculture and rural communities.
Agricultural finance, rural lending, farm credit access, support for young, beginning, and small farmers, agribusiness infrastructure financing, and policies affecting the Farm Credit System and rural economic development.
Primarily funded through borrower-members and capital markets access via the Farm Credit System, with earnings returned to members through patronage distributions.
