Women’s Law Project is a nonprofit public-interest legal organization that uses impact litigation, policy advocacy, and public education to advance the legal rights and economic security of women and LGBTQ+ people, with a focus on eliminating sex- and gender-based discrimination and expanding access to reproductive and health care.
Gender equity; reproductive rights and access to abortion and contraception; workplace discrimination and pay equity; Title IX and education equity; access to health care and insurance; protections against sexual violence and harassment; LGBT rights and non-discrimination; economic justice for women and caregivers.
Foundation grants, individual donations and philanthropy, occasional litigation recoveries or attorneys' fees, and nonprofit fundraising activities.
Collaborates with civil rights and reproductive rights organizations such as the ACLU and National Women’s Law Center, Pennsylvania legal aid and women’s advocacy groups, and local policy coalitions.
